Your child's English adventure has begun!
On this page, you can find how to understand the app, track progress, and support your child at home.
WordMatik is an English word learning platform that works under the teacher's guidance. Parents do not need to set it up — but this guide is prepared for you to track your child's progress and support them.

5 Questions Parents Ask the Most
Is the app paid?
The app is completely free for students. No feature locks or paid content. Billing only applies to teacher accounts for certain class sizes.
What age group is it suitable for?
WordMatik is designed for 5th to 12th grade (10-18 years old), aligned with the MEB curriculum. Game mechanics and content intensity are shaped according to the teacher's determined class level.
Is the content safe? Is there anything inappropriate?
All word lists consist of MEB-compliant content created by teachers. No social interaction within the app; students are only visible to their classmates on the leaderboard. No ads, third-party data sharing, or inappropriate content.
How many minutes should my child play per day?
Research shows that 10-15 minutes of daily practice is more effective than long, infrequent sessions. WordMatik's FSRS algorithm is designed to encourage short, regular sessions.
How can I contact the teacher?
WordMatik doesn't offer a direct channel for parent-teacher messaging; this communication should be maintained through the school's own channels. However, you can view your child's weekly performance from the parent panel and have productive discussions with the teacher using this data.
Series Support Biggest Motivation
Your child will open the app every day to maintain their daily series (streak). Celebrating this habit within the family multiplies motivation.
